Requests for review copies from teachers or librarians must be sent via email to education.library@simonandschuster.com and include complete contact information.

 
What’s the difference between Desk Copy & Exam Copy?
  • Desk Copy: A copy of a book that has been assigned in a college or university course by a Professor. One desk copy per single order of twenty or more copies. Our policy is 1 book for every 20 students. One title per order.
  • Exam Copy: Professor is considering assigning this book for their class and would like to review the book first. We offer this as a free ebook.
How do I request a desk or exam copy?

  • Desk and exam copies for Canadian educators can be requested by emailing canadian.orders@simonandschuster.com.
  • If you have any issues, please email education.library@simonandschuster.com 

In order to inquire about subsidiary or translation rights or to request permission to reprint copyrighted material, you must write a letter of inquiry addressed to the correct department. Please visit our Rights & Permissions section for information on what to include in the letter and where to send.

We are happy to send promotional materials for classroom and library use such as posters and bookmarks, if available. To request materials, please email us at education.library@simonandschuster.com and include your complete contact information and quantity of materials desired.

Simon & Schuster offers our eBooks to the library, academic, and K-12 markets through a number of wholesalers such as Overdrive, ProQuest, EBSCO, Mackin, etc. Please contact your preferred wholesaler to inquire about purchasing.

Simon & Schuster is dedicated to providing equitable access. Simon & Schuster has signed up with Bookshare.org to make our books accessible to students with disabilities. Most e-files should now be available through Bookshare.org.

As a general policy, Simon & Schuster does not review or return unsolicited manuscripts or artwork. We suggest that prospective authors and illustrators submit their materials through a professional literary agent.
 
We cannot recommend specific agents for your work but a directory of agents is one section of Literary Market Place, a reference work that can be found in most libraries. Literary Market Place also has a website. www.literarymarketplace.com.
